Have you made your resolutions yet?  We're still working on ours, but one that we plan to keep is the tradition of throwing the best party in Southeast Georgia! Ring in 2011 with our New Year's Eve party in Swainsboro, Georgia at the Lodge on Friday, December 31, 2011.  We're serving our scrumptious New Year's Eve 4 course Prix Fixe menu for $100 per couple. There will be two seatings at 6 pm and 8 pm. Lively music provided by the band “Steam, and dancing begins at 8:00 pm.

As Thanksgiving is just around the corner, we've got another thing to add to our thankful list! Just released was our mention in Southern Living's Georgia Living! We're big fans of the magazine and love that we've made the news!

Our very own Cathy McDaniel is doing a seminar at the 2010 Georgia Agritourism Conference, “Play, Learn, Grow,” and the event is on November 3 - 5 at the Dillard House in Rabun County, Georgia.  The conference promises current information from experts in the agritourism industry. Fun news! Today, the cheese that was delivered to the governor's mansion is being served at a state department dinner for ambassadors from all over the world.  So excited and honored that our Swainsboro dairy is getting a chance to hit tastebuds near and far! We'll share photos if we are able to get any!

Wow! Nearing the end of September and Thanksgiving is right around the corner.  We're so thankful for a great year so far - with everything from our recent awards to our new team down at the dairy! If you'd like to spend Thanksgiving with us, we'd be honored to have you!

We're so excited to announce that we were awarded the "Tourism Champion Award for Product Development" presented today by Governor Perdue at the Governor's Conference on Tourism in Athens! The joint tourism industry conference was hosted by the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD), Georgia Association of Convention & Visitors Bureaus (GACVB) and the Tourism Development Alliance of Georgia (TDAG) in Athens, and there were over 400 in attendance.
