That special woman in your life deserves some fun this weekend! We've got ideas abound from the Lodge and our imaginations on ways to treat Mom this year!

Take Mom to a Gourmet Meal: If your mom is anything like ours, she loves coming up with tasty treats to tickle our bellies.  Hanging out in the kitchen she indeed enjoys (and even moreso when Dad helps out!) but Mother's Day is a time to trade places and think of her!  Making a reservation early is the key to a flawless day.  Since it's the busiest time of the year for restaurants, the key is to book early, especially if you've got a large group. Think about what her favorite food may be, or what the one thing is that she loves having but always gets outvoted!  May 9th will be the day to treat her.

Relaxing Treat for Mom: Running around all day, moms rarely get a quiet moment for themselves.  A spa inspired gift basket could be the ticket.  Gather some of her favorite luxe soaps, a plush robe and aromatherapy candles to present to mom.

at the Lodge - Live nearby or feel like a road trip? We have ample Spa Services that are sure to delight Mom, including delights like Hot Stone Massage or Signature Facials.  With advance notice we can also do treatments in tandem for mother/daughter or couples too.

Take Mom on a Picnic: Does mom enjoy the great outdoors?  Pack a portable meal, a blanket, a fun game or two and take her out for some family time amongst the trees!

Photos with Mom: Sweet memories of her flock are the ticket to mom's heart, and photos are essential to capturing each and every one of them.  Grab your memory card and camera and have mom say 'cheese!' Don't forget to pack a tripod so you'll be able to get a shot with the entire gang.

Now that we've gotten past Christmas and New Year's, another holiday is almost upon us!  Sure, we know it's a month away, but what better night to look forward to than a special Valentine's Day treat spent with the love in your life and with us here at the Lodge?

If you're local to the Southeast Georgia area, it's $100 per couple for dinner & glass of champagne on Feb. 13th or 14th.
