Sesame Glazed Oyster Mushrooms

Ingredients
Oyster Mushrooms - 8oz
Sesame Oil – 1 tbsp
Sugar – 1 tsp
Sesame seeds – 1 tbsp
Low sodium Soy Sauce – 3 tbsp
Fresh ginger – 1 tsp – grated or finely chopped
Fresh garlic – 1 tbsp – minced
Scallions – ¼ cup sliced thin

Preparation
Heat a large skillet or shallow pot and add the Sesame oil. Add the sugar and stir until it’s dissolved. Add the ginger and garlic, stir for 1 minute. Add the oyster mushrooms and Season with a pinch of salt to draw the moisture out of the mushrooms. Be careful with the salt, the soy sauce will add plenty of seasoning. Brown the mushrooms on both sides. Add the soy sauce and cook until soft. Finish by adding the sesame seeds and scallions.
